8 de febrero de 2022.- La película del director mexicano Guillermo del Toro, Nightmare Alley, en español «El callejón de las almas perdidas», recibió 4 nominaciones a los Premios Oscar:

*Dirección de fotografía (Dan Laustsen)
*Diseño de producción
Por otra parte, la cinta «The Power of the Dog», de la cineasta Jane Campion, lidera con 12 candidaturas las nominaciones a la 94 edición de los Oscar, anunció este martes la Academia de Hollywood.
La superproducción de ficción científica «Duna» está en segundo lugar con 10, mientras que «Belfast», de Kenneth Branagh, les sigue en tercer lugar con 7 nominaciones.
La ceremonia se llevará a cabo el próximo 27 de marzo, en Los Ángeles, California.
